  • It was there. Just visible enough for me to take it in. Captivated, I stood in wonderment for a little while, between the foliage and my overactive imagination. The house, object of my curiosity, was framed perfectly, with its white washed paint and quaint facade. I wondered who might have build such a display of comfort and warmly dwelling, must be the romantic type, I wondered. But I did not see anyone coming in or out, not a shutter open nor close, not a living or a soul. It was still, like I was, with the trees making odd patterns on the windows and the birds chirping on the ceiling. It had some kind of bucolic sentiment, the kind that I like.   • We’ll probably dance under the moon in a warm September evening. Inspired by the candle light dinner and the glasses of Italian wine over the table. We’ll likely share stories long buried within, create new ones for sure. Those kinds of stories that will keep our imagination afloat, long after the lights are out and we’re rested in our bed linens. For me this is the best part of workshops, the real connections made out of beautiful moments. . I’ve started drafting the chapters of the journey we’ll take on the Tuscany Workshop later this summer. And it’s heartening to even think about it, there will be so many surprises to inspirit, to kindle new roads of creativity. I can’t wait to share it with you.   • I was walking the other day along the coast of one of Stockholm’s most beautiful park, closed my eyes in joy, feeling grateful for my life, for everything that allowed me to be there, to pursue my dreams and be present. Surrounded by green there was a glade clashing with the view, a dome painted pink made me take a turn up the hill, between the bushes and creeks, all the way to the end of that slope. I’ve never seen a tree made solely of flowers, dancing with the wind as its lecturer. I couldn’t help to wonder if my children, grandchildren, will be able to witness such a marvel, like I did that day. If seasons will still be coupled with the blooming of nature and it’s surrender to the colder months. It frightens me to think about that. To think that in most cases we take it all for granted.
  • I rest my shoes where I can, place my hat over the chair. Bits of ideas are left all over, like crumbs of projects that have expired and never took form on a canvas or passed the entrance. I get so lost in my thoughts, in my photography that I seldom understand the need of an order. I’ve started boxing my belongings while the house hunting continues. I feel like a hoarder most of the time, and it’s quite frustrating to be exact. To pick what’s going with me and what gets a new life somewhere far from my enclose. Not this beautiful shoes I’m thinking, not this silky ribbon for sure, and most definitely not this photo, because from all the chaos in life, there is always something that sparks a new purpose. .
